The WEIMA S7.30 is the most powerful model in the S7 series and is designed to meet the highest throughput requirements in industrial production and recycling processes. The single-shaft shredder processes large volumes of wood waste, substantial quantities of single-type post-industrial plastics, and paper and cardboard waste from controlled material streams.
With the largest working width in the series, the S7.30 enables particularly efficient waste shredding even with very high material volumes. The 700 mm rotor, the robust machine construction and the PLC control system ensure consistent performance stability during multi-shift operation. This positions the S7.30 as a high-throughput solution for central recycling and processing areas with maximum material requirements.
Below you will find an overview of the technical details, equipment options and integration possibilities for the respective machine.

Controlled feeding via a segmented slide gate
The material is fed in precisely and evenly. The segmented base guides the hydraulic slide smoothly and reduces jamming with light or thin materials. An integrated shock valve absorbs impact loads at the end of the cylinder. This reduces mechanical wear and improves process stability.

Consistent shredding performance thanks to a 700 mm heavy-duty V-rotor
The profiled V-rotors of the S7 series have a diameter of 700 mm and feature up to three rows of blades. All sizes are suitable for universal use and guarantee maximum throughput with low wear costs. The cutting blades are reversible and available in sizes of 40, 60, 80 and 100 mm.

Extended service life thanks to protected rotor bearings
The rotor bearings are mounted on the frame in a position outside the cutting zone. Heavy-duty self-aligning roller bearings are used. This protected position minimises the impact of external forces and facilitates maintenance work. This extends the service life of the bearings and increases machine availability.

Reduced downtime thanks to a swivelling screen basket
The screen basket opens upwards, providing full access to the rotor. Maintenance work and the replacement of blades or screens can be carried out without dismantling any obstructive components. A range of screen geometries allows for flexible adjustment of the final particle size. This simplifies servicing and reduces downtime.

High cutting precision on flexible fabrics thanks to the F-rotor with wear protection
The F-rotor is designed for demanding and flexible materials. Its special geometry enables controlled cutting and stable material grip. An optional Vautid protective coating reduces wear under high mechanical loads. For temperature-sensitive applications, optional rotor cooling is also available, further improving process stability and tool life.

Flexible power adjustment via hydraulic or electromechanical drive
Depending on the application, either a hydraulic drive or an electromechanical drive with a WAP gearbox can be used. Hydraulic systems enable high torque at variable speeds without power surges. Speed control is carried out as required via a variable-displacement pump. This allows the machine to be precisely adapted to material properties and throughput requirements.

Increased performance thanks to faster slide movement
The turbo-hydraulic system increases the speed of the slide movement. The material is fed to the rotor more quickly and continuously. This increases the shredding capacity per unit of time. For production facilities, this means a measurable increase in overall throughput.

Maximum load capacity thanks to a heavy-duty machine frame
The S7 series features 40 mm thick steel side walls and generously dimensioned rotors. The robust construction is designed to withstand high mechanical stresses. Combined with powerful drives, the machine retains its structural integrity even under intensive use. This ensures long-term reliability in industrial operation.

Reliable process control via PLC with automatic reverse function
The shredding process runs continuously and in a controlled manner. The Siemens PLC centrally controls the shredder, conveyor system and, where applicable, downstream units via a control cabinet. The integrated automatic reverse system detects load conditions and automatically prevents blockages. This enhances process reliability and enables seamless integration into existing production lines.

Reduced vibrations thanks to vibration-damping machine feet
The machine is fitted with hard rubber feet that absorb and dampen vibrations. This reduces vibrations transmitted to the floor and adjacent equipment. It facilitates flexible installation without the need for additional foundation work. This improves running smoothness and protects the surrounding equipment.
